I purchased this dress along with eight beaded applique at a San Francisco bridal boutique called Bridal Galleria, who is an authorized Monique Lhuillier retailer. I went to try on a lot of wedding dresses at several boutiques, but kept coming back to this one as it was so light, flowy, delicate, and looked really good on me since I’m petite. The dress did not have any beads or sparkle on it, so the Monique Lhuillier rep that was at the boutique when I bought the dress recommended that I also order the beaded applique (also Monique Lhuillier) which could be placed all over the dress to give it a little something extra, and I loved it!!! Monique Lhuillier is known for doing a lot of beaded applique and overlays. If the beaded applique happens to be not your style, a seamstress can easily take it off.
The dress arrived in April 2016, and I wore it for my wedding in Hawaii in September 2016. It travels very well, as it’s very light and doesn’t get wrinkled. I received so many compliments on it, and while I hate to let it go, know that it can make another bride feel just as beautiful as I did on that special day!
The dress color is silk white/latte. I love the color so much more than a plain white dress!
