This silk dress has a corset back and should fit anyone from street size 10/12 to size 14/16. If you lose or gain some weight before your wedding, no big deal!:) I wore it on my happy wedding day, and am only selling it because there's no sense in letting it sit around in a closet not being worn. I hope it brings someone else happiness too!

It's 100% dupioni silk. It has a chapel-length train and beading around the neckline and the back of the dress. There is no beading directly under the arms, to keep it from rubbing. It has a beautiful sheen to it, which is what I loved most about the dress.

One benefit to this fabric is that it's ironable. I had to bring the dress as a carry-on on a long plane trip, and the hem inevitably wrinkled. I was able to iron the bottom half of the skirt before the ceremony on a low setting with a hotel iron with zero problems. The bodice doesn't really wrinkle because of the sewn-on ruching.

It is made with a built-in petticoat that makes the dress A-line - you can just wear it this way. The tulle is really nice quality. Optionally, you can add a bigger petticoat under the dress to pouf it out into a ballgown.

As a side note, wearing a silk dress as opposed to polyester was AMAZING. My wedding was in Vegas in the summer and it was HOT outside. Not only did the silk look beautiful, but it breathed 100% better than the otherwise-nice DB polyester wedding dress I wore the night before in a photoshoot. The difference between the two was striking. I highly recommend silk for hot weddings!

The beading is hand-sewn, not glued on. It's gorgeous.

The dress has not been cleaned and there are hem stains from walking around. It needs to be cleaned. My wedding was June 2016, so the stains have not been sitting for years. If you want to have it cleaned, I can mail it to the cleaning company and specify that they mail the cleaned dress to you (you'd pay the cleaning price to them). Please do not dry clean it - that is not a proper process for fine wedding silk!
