The Colette by Jenny Yoo is oh so gorgeous!!! My engagement was a little long so this was a first purchase but then I fell hard for another dress. The Colette gown will strike you with both modern and with classic, traditional vibes. No still picture does it justice because the lace and beading have a sutble glimmer. There are (2) two layers to the gown. An illusion bateau neckline over the wide V-neckline of the dress underlay with thin spaghetti straps gives modest coverage without taking away from the gown’s silhouette. An ever so delicate and ethereal layer of Monaco Chantilly lace accented with strategically placed Lisbon beaded lace appliques floats over a double-layer silk charmeuse slip. The top layer fastens will lace-covered button closures and thin straps hold the open V back in place & also lace buttons on the inner wrists(!) I tried this on with a full underskirt as well & it turned into more of a ball gown style (in case there are brides that want that look.) Slight low-ley train completes the gown.
